Carter joined Southfield Capital in May 2025. Prior to joining Southfield, Carter was an Associate at Vestar Capital Partners, where he helped evaluate prospective buyouts of business services, consumer, and healthcare companies. Prior to joining Vestar, Carter worked as an Analyst at Roark Capital Group.

Carter graduated from New York University, where he received his B.S. in Business, with concentrations in Finance and Computing & Data Science.
